York County Communication Director York County is currently accepting applications for a Communication Director for the newly organized York County Communication Center.
Must be a citizen of the United States, at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid driver's license, NCIC certification, and emergency medical dispatcher training.
Must have five years of consecutive experience in the following, or any combination thereof: fire/public safety/law enforcement dispatcher.
Knowledge in dispatching for fire, law enforcement and medical personnel, prior supervisorial experience preferred, and the ability to act decisively in emergency situations.
Must pass pre-employment drug and background checks, including a criminal records check, free of felony or other serious violent crime convictions.
Salary starting at $55-$65K annually based on qualifications, with full benefit package.
